Milano is recognised as the worlds capitol of fashion and design. Make no mistake the homeless are even well dressed. There is no place for Havaianas in Milan no matter what! Secondly a croissant and coffee will set you back 40 Euro in the Galleria. Surrounded by countless brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci and the rest a girl can hardly contain herself but you are paying on the Euro and it starts to sting. Best place in Milan for me is A Santa Lucio Restaurant. They make the best pizza. Everything in the restaurant is original from when they opened their doors opened in 1930, same chairs, same tables, same wall lamps and I suspect same pizza recipe. For a family, Milan is worth a visit but its not a family holiday destination.
